This chapter discussed the core functionality of the Validator Framework and provided step-by-step examples on for using the framework. The more useful validator rules were covered, as well as advanced topics like how to create and validate a wizard-style application. You also learned how to create your own validator rule in Java, and how to perform validation in both the validate method of an ActionForm and with the Validator Framework.
In the next chapter we use Tiles to create reusable presentation components.
