Acrobat Distiller

Acrobat Distiller used to be a separate program of Acrobat. Now it is rolled in with Acrobat Professional. It still runs as it did, but you can access it in Acrobat under the Advanced menu. When you choose Acrobat Distiller, the program starts up.

Distiller is mainly used to convert a PostScript file (created by another application) into a PDF file. To convert a PostScript file to a PDF using Distiller, you can simply drag the PostScript file on top of the Distiller icon, or with Distiller active, open the PostScript file. You can also adjust the settings in Distiller to make the PDF the way you want.
