In this chapter, you learned how to use information about the needs of your users and the current assessment of your network to design an Exchange organization. The design of an organization happens at three distinct levels: the organizational level, the routing group level, and the server level.

Part II of this book, “Planning,” has shown you how to collect and use information about your situation when planning your Exchange organization. Chapter 7, “Installing Exchange Server 2003,” begins Part III, “Deployment,” which looks at the deployment of Exchange Server 2003. In Chapter 7, you will learn how to install Exchange Server.
