In this chapter, you have learned how to manage a network in which Exchange 5.5 servers coexist with Exchange 2000 servers. Our focus has been on working within a given network. It is often necessary, however, to coexist with other types of systems, through connectors. This is the topic of the next chapter, where you will learn how to connect to foreign X.400 and Microsoft Mail messaging systems.
