The 34 Case Studies

This research paper is part of an on-going study investigating the utilisation of e-commerce by Australian SMEs. These 34 case studies investigate the uptake and use of e-commerce amongst SMEs across a broad range of businesses from seven different industries including agriculture, retail trade, hospitality, education, communications, and manufacturing. These businesses vary in age from start-ups to well-established businesses. The SMEs that participated in this research were drawn from two states in Australia (Tasmania and Western Australia).
