Chapter 7. Creating Drawing Objects

In this chapter

  • Find out why and how to use the Drawing toolbar

  • Learn how to add lines and closed shapes

Sometimes less is more. In Chapter 6, "Working with Graphic Objects," you learned how to insert clip art and bitmap images. But sometimes all you really need is a simple graphic element to highlight, emphasize, or point to something you're trying to show onscreen. You don't need complex images to do it. All you need is a box, an arrow, or a line.

This chapter explores the use of the Draw feature, which also happens to be available in other Office 2003 applications, such as Word and Excel.
