Conclusion


This chapter introduced the various ways you can integrate your code into Outlook. You learned about Outlook's ability to add a custom property page to the Outlook Option's dialog box or to a folder's Properties dialog box. This chapter also introduced the basic hierarchy of the Outlook object model and briefly considered the Collaboration Data Objects object model. Chapter 10, "Working with Outlook Events," describes the events in the Outlook object model. Chapter 11, "Working with Outlook Objects," describes the most important objects in the Outlook object model. Chapter 24, "Creating Outlook Add-Ins with VSTO," describes building VSTO Outlook add-ins.
