Creating an Application-Level Smart Tag Class Library in Visual Studio

To create a Smart Tag class library DLL, start Visual Studio. Choose New Project from the File menu, and create a new class library project as shown in Figure 16.8.

With the class library project created, right-click the Project node, and choose Add Reference. Click the COM tab, and add a reference to the Microsoft Smart Tags 2.0 Type Library, as shown in Figure 16.7. Doing so gives you a definition for the two interfaces you have to implement: ISmartTagRecognizer and ISmartTagAction.
