Chapter 11. Writing Database-Driven Applications

After 10 hard chapters about either PHP or PostgreSQL, it's time to write the first applications based on PHP and PostgreSQL as a team. The goal of this chapter is to introduce you to the basics of PHP/PostgreSQL interaction and to learn how to send SQL statements to the database server. In addition, you will learn what you have to take care of when working with PostgreSQL and PHP.
