Overview

We never appreciated the meaning of cool until we started playing with Exchange Server and its clients and some of the fantastic applications that third-party vendors have created to extend the reach of an already great set of products. Here we will tell you about some of our favorite products.

Products are listed by category, along with information on how you can contact the vendors. Some vendors provide live demos or even trial versions of their products that you can download over the Internet.

While we have tried hard to keep this list of tools and vendors accurate, it is by no means complete and may not even be completely accurate by the time you read it. There is continual change in vendors and ownership of products in our industry.

Most of the vendors listed here either have begun shipping or are committed to shipping Exchange 2007 versions of their products, though as this book is being written, many vendors are still shipping only Exchange 2000/2003 versions. Contact the vendor for more information.
