Hot deploy functionality is included with Geronimo. Using the hot deployer, you can place modules into a hot deploy directory and they will be automatically deployed to the local server. The hot deployer checks the modification dates of the modules in the hot deploy directory regularly. If you make any changes to the files, the hot deployer will automatically redeploy the module on the local Geronimo server. If you delete hot-deployed modules from this directory, it will be undeployed on the server.
Be aware, however, that any modules you deleted from the hot deploy directory when the server is down will not be undeployed from the server.
By default, the hot deployer will examine the deploy directory for modules to hot deploy.
