SQL Server: Backup Device

This object defines a single counter, which reports the performance of backup devices. Each instance of the object has its own counter.

• Device Throughput Bytes/sec Number of bytes per second being transferred to a backup device during a backup operation. This is useful for monitoring both the throughput and distribution of I/O operations involving the backup device.
