Triggers are a special class of stored procedure. In this chapter, you'll learn what triggers do and when you should use them. You'll also learn about the trigger enhancements that Microsoft SQL Server 2000 provides. You'll practice two methods for creating triggers: using Transact-SQL (T-SQL) statements and using SQL Server Enterprise Manager. And you'll learn how to manage and modify triggers.
