Testing and Staging

The final development steps are the testing and staging phases. During the testing phase, several Vshift developers installed the Flash files on their laptops and tested the application both connected and not connected to the Internet. The application was placed on a staging server that would accurately mimic the actual production server on which the application is intended to be hosted.

As the team tested the application, they found that the connection is successfully detected, and that reports are stored appropriately and synced properly when connections change between online and offline.

Given this successful testing, Vshift can now prepare to demonstrate and deliver the application to MonkeyTongue.
