Appendix B. UML -F tags for the GoF framework patterns

For the sake of completness, this appendix lists the UML-F tags of all GoF framework pattterns (Gamma et al., 1995). As discussed in Chapter 4, these tags are derived from the structure of each pattern in the GoF pattern catalog. We refrain from a complete presentation of the tag sets according to the tag definition template, as the patterns are discussed in detail in the pattern catalog. Thus we restrict the presentation to the sections Tags, Apply to, Type, and Expansion; and leave out the sections Motivation and purpose, Informal explanation of effect and Discussion. Chapter 4 provides a complete presentation of the tags for the Factory Method, Strategy, and Composite patterns.

The appendix first presents the Unification-based patterns Template Method and Factory Method, goes on with the Separation-based pattterns Bridge, Builder, Interpreter, Abstract Factory, Command, Observer, Prototype, State, and Strategy; followed by the recursive patterns Composite, Decorator and Chain-of-Responsibility.
