5.7 Summary

The generic recipes indicate that a tool could be provided to help automate the adaptation of frameworks that are annotated by UML-F tags.

The definition of a 'guided tour' through an entire framework is highly framework-dependent. It provides an overview and then gradually digs deeper into the framework details. Alongside a guided tour, UML-F diagrams help to pinpoint the variation points. Chapter 6 exemplifies the application of UML-F in the context of a cookbook. It introduces the JUnit testing framework and illustrates the JUnit adaptation process.
