Summary


This chapter describes a sample program that employs the peer membership and peer discovery protocols of the JXTA technology through the techniques of community formation, presence of peers, and the monitoring of peers. The P2P game shows a technique to form a community by creating new peers. The community here is a jail, and a token is needed to leave the jail. The P2P game also shows how to route the jail token among peers and broadcast where the token is located.
