Chapter 5. Overview of Indexing and Searching Content
Documents can be tagged by the author as a Best Bet for a particular keyword or category, such that if users search for this term they will see this document in a prevailing position on top of all other search results. This feature allows content organizers to determine what is important in their workspace. Taking the earlier example of keywords that represent the set of products that a company offers, one overview document per product could be marked as Best Bet. Thus, when searching for a particular product, this overview will attract the user 's attention, while all other references will also remain available in the "Matching Documents" Web Part.
To assign a category, follow the steps previously outlined in the "Assigning Categories" section of this chapter.
Then select a category Best Bet. Note that this works differently for keywords; if you are selecting a Best Bet keyword you will not see it in the list of regular keywords.
For details on using and configuring Best Bets, see "Category Best Bets," p. 318.
