What are the limitations between Internet Explorer versions 4 and 5 with respect to Web views and Active Desktop?

A1:

Active Desktop is available with Internet Explorer 5. If you previously had Internet Explorer 4, and were using Active Desktop with this version, you should consider upgrading to version 5. Lastly, if the Windows Explorer pane is being used to view Search, Favorites, History, or Folders, the descriptions of the Web view are not visible unless the Explorer pane is closed. If you have Internet Explorer 5 and are unable to view Active Desktop, uninstall Internet Explorer 5. Install Internet Explorer 4 with Active Desktop and then upgrade to Internet Explorer 5.
