Using the Contacts Folder

The Contacts folder is one of Outlook's default folders. You can open the Contacts folder by selecting the Contacts banner from the Navigation Pane or by clicking the Contacts folder from the folder list when it's available. The default view for the Contacts folder is the Address Card view, shown in Figure 9.1.

Information for your various contacts is presented much like you would see information on index cards in a Rolodex. Use the radio buttons under the Current View heading in the Navigation Pane to switch views. You'll need to experiment a bit to find the view that's most helpful to you.

To open an existing entry in the Contacts folder, double-click the entry to display Figure 9.2.
