Custom Installation Wizard

If you're responsible for installing Office 2003 or Outlook 2003 for your organization, you can use the Custom Installation Wizard to create customized Windows Installer transform files (MST files) to customize the installation of Office from a network location or directly from the client computers. You can customize the target install directory and the organization name. You can also choose how the installation deals with previous versions of Office, which features to install, the OPS (Office Profile Settings) file to use to configure individual user preferences, defaults, servers, security settings, storage limits, and Registry entries added or removed from the client system. All of these settings are saved to the MST file. To start setup using the MST file, run the Office Setup program from the command line and specify the transform file as instructed in the last page of the Custom Installation Wizard program.
