When you complete a task, you should mark that task complete. Otherwise, you'll end up with hundreds of tasks on your task list. If you're in the Tasks folder, the easiest way to mark a task complete is to right-click the task and select Mark Complete. You can also open the task and change its status to Completed or change the % Complete to 100%. In the Active Task view, completed tasks are immediately removed from the list. If you're using another view, such as Simple List, completed tasks are shown in gray with a line through them.
