A Vision of Others' Tomorrows

When we think of having foresight, we usually think of being able to see the future for ourselves. But there are some people who have foresight about others. Take, for instance, Angelo Ellerbe—he develops artists in the music industry. Some of his clients include Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, rappers DMX and Sisqo, and many others you haven't heard of—yet. Those who are now well-known names started out as unknowns, too. Somewhere along the line, someone like Angelo Ellerbe was able to see their potential, and to help the artists see this potential for themselves.

Realize that practicing foresight requires a leap of faith. Earl Nightingale once said, "We need faith strong enough to bear the burden of our doubts." Faith is a critical component of foresight. Stepping out into the future is to be daring and different. You have to believe deep down in your soul that your vision is true and real, otherwise you will let it go too easily. Renew your vision every day as you renew your faith; they will both provide the strong foundation of a better life.
