There will be times when you will want to check the status of the rolling upgrade or to verify where you are in the rolling upgrade process. The commands in Table 25-4 can be used to obtain the status of the Rolling Upgrade. These commands may be executed at any time provided that the Clean Stage has not been initiated.
How to Check the Rolling Upgrade Status | |
---|---|
Command | Function of the Command |
clu_upgrade -v | Display the status of the Rolling Upgrade. |
clu_upgrade [stage] | Check to see if the specific stage can be performed. If the stage is not specified then a check will be made to determine if the very next stage can be performed. |
clu_upgrade started stage | Check to see if the specified stage has been started or has been completed. |
clu_upgrade check roll memberid | Check to see if the specified cluster member (memberid) has been rolled to the new software. |
clu_upgrade tagged check [product code] | A check is made to determine if a tagged file has been created for the specified product. If the product code is not provided, a check is made of all the tagged files versus all products installed on the cluster. |
