Printing and Sharing Your Notes

Years ago, when computers started to gain popularity in business environments, the buzzword was paperless. Computers promised to eliminate the need for paper in a business situation. After all, if you could just create your document on the computer and fax or email it to the intended recipient, no one would ever need to print anything.

That might have been a noble goal, but the dream of the paperless office quickly faded. No matter how much you might love your computer, you'll still need to print information on a regular basis. Either you need to share the information with someone without a computer, or you just need a paper copy in case of a computer crash.

You might want to print your OneNote notes to share them with colleagues who don't have OneNote. Even if you have a Tablet PC or laptop, you might not want to carry it around with you to every meeting. You could also print all of your OneNote notes and compile a booklet containing the history for an entire project or class.

Regardless of why you need to print your OneNote notes, you'll need to know the basics of printing in OneNote, and how to best layout a OneNote page for printing.
