Overview
Whereas Chapter 11 used FreeHand's envelopes and layer-based animations, this chapter explains page-based animations and works more with the Navigation panel to enrich the user's experience. It includes two projects that you can work through to understand the concepts better. The completed projects are on the CD that accompanies this book. The first section deals with simple rollover actions to move the viewer through the movie. The second section has a continual animation running in the background, and utilizes mouse clicks to spark the action. This movie is created in two different ways to show the differences between animation setups. The last section delves into the changes that FreeHand has brought to the drawing board.
