Overview

Someone might give you a bitmap image and you might need to make a scalable vector shape out of it. Or you might want to learn how to make bitmap effects using Fireworks vector tools. For this tutorial, you are going to reproduce an interface designed in Photoshop. The design was made by Eyeland Studio (www.eyelandstudio.com) and donated for your use. It's part of the Photoshop Web Foundry. The following figure shows the image you are going to reproduce as closely as possible, except for the buttons.
