In this chapter, you learned the basics of working with Dreamweaver productivity features, including library items and Dreamweaver templates. You built a library item so that you could modify its content later. You learned that library items are element-based locked code; whereas templates work at the page level. You added a template based on an existing page and defined regions for the template. You learned to set optional regions and to include editable tag attributes, which you edited in pages you built from the template. You also modified the template to include links between the pages and passed those changes to your pages.
