Troubleshooting is a skill that requires you to collect the required information about what is happening on your computer. Microsoft has provided you with several tools that have been bundled with their Windows family of products. In this chapter, you will learn how to collect information so that you will know where to start when troubleshooting your system. These tools, when used properly, will help you collect information that then can be used to troubleshoot what the root problem is.
