Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET is a custom version of Crystal Reports and provides a comprehensive reporting solution for Visual Studio .NET developers. This version of Crystal Reports is seamlessly integrated with both the Visual Studio .NET development environment (IDE) and the .NET Framework. It is important to note that the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET version is not the same as, or included in, Crystal Reports version 9. Consequently, there might be features and topics covered earlier in this book that are not in the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET version. Crystal Reports version 9 is the latest and most current release of Crystal Reports at the time this book was written.
