CAMEO is a system of software applications used to plan for and respond to chemical emergencies. Developed by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Chemical Emergency Preparedness and Prevention Office and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Office of Response and Restoration, CAMEO helps frontline chemical emergency planners and responders access, store, and evaluate information critical to developing emergency plans.
