Summary

In this chapter, we introduced essential concepts for writing a planning document for a CMS engagement. We used a four-phase approach of envisioning the project, planning the project, developing the project, and stabilizing the project. We have also provided a sample outline from which you can begin to write your own CMS planning documents.
