Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to implement index and query servers at the farm level and how to make design choices based on whether you are using a dedicated WFE server or all the WFE servers to help proxy the crawl acitivities to the content sources.

You also explored the Indexer Performance choices and how to plan capacity for these choices. Finally, you considered implementing the server roles by reviewing three common scenarios.
