Changing Frames

Although the Flash Timeline can appear to be quite static and boring, there are actually some very interesting options that can make your Timeline much more useful. At the top-right corner of the Timeline, you'll see a mini timeline button. Clicking it will give you various frame view options. You can set how wide Flash displays the frames or even make them vertically compact by choosing Short. If tinted frame sequences get on your nerves for some reason, turn them off. And the most fun are the last two on the list. Choosing either of the Preview options will let you actually see a scaled-down icon of the objects in your frames, sort of like a preview. Of course these are all view options, so they have no effect on how the frames operate, but they could help you see the frames the way that's best for you. Whoever said the Flash Timeline was boring?
