Select Entire Shape

I know, it sounds like a really hard concept to grasp, right? Something to consider is that Flash looks at a shape in two pieces: a fill and a stroke. If you have any shape on the Stage, click on its fill and then drag it. You'll see that your stroke is left behind. So, try this. To move a shape (including its stroke), double-click anywhere in the fill area of the shape. This will select the stroke and fill sections of the shape, and then you can move the entire thing at once. It can take some getting used to, but once you do, this can be a powerful way of operating.
