Scene Management

You're probably familiar with the idea of scenes by now. They can help you break your movies into sections, kind of like a slide show. Chances are, when you want to create a new scene, you go to Insert and then Scene, right? Good idea. However, there is a panel that can help you add and manage any scenes in your document. It's appropriately called the Scene panel. This panel is not included in the default layout, so you'll have to enable it yourself.

Go to Window > Design Panels > Scene (SHIFT-F2) to open the Scene panel. Here you can duplicate, add, or delete scenes using the three buttons at the bottom of the panel. You can also jump to a scene by double-clicking one of the scenes listed. If you're big on scenes, this panel will be your new friend. At least until it steals money from you.
