Microsoft has given the developer a storage area that can be accessed by calling the IADs Get method on the Parameters custom user property of the Windows NT service provider. This field is where the Citrix/Terminal Server profile paths, as well as user-specific RAS information, are stored.
Note
This may be exciting news for those seeking the answers to programmatic manipulation of the Terminal Server/Citrix WinFrame-specific profile parameters. This field is very difficult to manipulate using Visual Basic and ADSI, however, and thus will not be covered in this text. If you wish to programmatically manipulate these parameters, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/isapi/msdnlib.idc?the URL=/library/psdk/termserv/wtsapi_9hgu.htm for information on the WTS API
For those seeking to manipulate RAS configuration parameters, you can use an additional DLL found in the ADSI Resource Kit to manipulate these properties. A link to the ADSI Resource kit distribution is contained in the Web site accompanying this text at http://www.newriders.com/adsi .
