Section 7: QoS (6 Points)

  • Configure a Traffic Class and apply it on incoming direction R6-E0/0, which will classify all BGP traffic and set IP precedence to immediate.

  • Configure Committed Access Rate on R6-a3/0, so that web traffic will be sent but using IP precedence 5 for the web traffic that conforms to the first rate policy, and so that nonconforming web traffic will use the IP precedence 0 (best effort). Any remaining traffic is limited to 8 Mbps, with a normal burst size of 16,000 bytes and an Excess Burst size of 24,000 bytes. Traffic that conforms is sent with an IP precedence of 5. Traffic that does not conform should be dropped.

  • Configure policy-based routing on R1 such that all packets with a source of 160.10.11.10 prefer a next-hop 160.10.5.5 address.
