Equipment List

• 2 Catalyst 3550 switches (3550 X 24 Fast Ethernet ports with Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1 Enhanced Multilayer Software image [EMI])

• 6 Cisco routers (2600, 3600, and 3725)

• A backbone router (Cisco 7200)

• A Frame Relay switch router (Cisco 4000)

The routers are loaded with Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2 Enterprise Mainline image (all Cisco equipment). The exception is the 3725 router that is loaded with 12.2(T) image.

• Follow the routers interface specification as shown in Table 5-1.

NOTE

Although you will be provided with fully meshed physical connectivity (LAN and WAN), you may not use all Routers or interfaces in all lab exercises. This is to optimize your setup for the next lab.
