Executing a Command Procedure As a Batch Job

Command procedures may be submitted to a batch queue for immediate or delayed execution. When the batch job executes, it will run under your username and, by default, it will produce a log file recording its execution.

The SUBMIT command is used to create a batch job.(See "Working with Queues" in Chapter 7, "The User Environment," for information on submitting batch jobs.)
