Looking Ahead

IPv6 enables the Internet to scale to an extremely large size . It also eases host configuration management. Much of the host configuration is accomplished through router configurations. Router management, as discussed in Chapter 9, "Router Management," will be needed as much as ever, to provide secure configurations and to keep the routers running reliably and optimally.
