The Visio engine returns both real numbers and integers as floating point numbers with 15 significant digits. To reduce the possibility of rounding errors in Microsoft Visual Basic or Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), assign numbers to Variant or Double variables and store numbers in fields with the appropriate data type.
