You want to make your DVD music disc menus easy to use by setting navigation settings for each one of your menu objects. This seems complicated but is actually very easy to do, and it will save you time when it comes to enjoying your music DVD.
Set Navigation Settings for Disc Object
Select the Disc icon and click Smart Objects to bring up the Smart Objects window. Check the boxes next to the Navigation options that you want to be visible on the DVD menu when the DVD is played. Click OK when you are finished.
Set Navigation Settings for Track Lists
Select the track list and click Smart Objects to bring up the Smart Objects window. Check the boxes next to the Navigation options that you want visible on the Track List menu when the DVD is played. Click OK when you are finished.
Set Navigation Settings for Smart Menus
Select the smart menu and click Smart Objects to bring up the Smart Objects window. Check the boxes next to the Navigation options that you want to be visible on the smart menu when the DVD is played. Click OK when you are finished.
Set Navigation and Track Info Settings for Tracks
Select the track(s) and click Smart Objects to bring up the Smart Objects window. Check the boxes next to the Navigation and Track Info options that you want visible on the track screen when the DVD is played. Click OK when you are finished.
Enable Track Lists in DVD Menu
After you have set the navigation settings for your menus and tracks, check the box next to the root track list if you want the track list to be visible in the DVD menu.
Select Smart Menus to Display
You can also specify which smart menus will be displayed on the DVD menu by checking the boxes next to the ones that you want visible.
Rename Disc, Track Lists, Smart Menus, and Tracks
You can change the name of the DVD music disc, track lists, smart menus, and audio tracks at any time to make them more meaningful. These names are displayed in the DVD menu, so you want to use a name that enables you to easily navigate through the DVD menu.
Edit Audio Tags
After you have named the audio tracks and menus properly, you can select audio tracks and click on the Edit Audio Tags button to edit the tags associated with each track. See task Add Tags to Audio Tracks for more information.
