Acknowledgments

My sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this book possible, whether or not I dealt with you directly. In particular, I wish to thank Sarah Arnott, Laura Gabler, and Karen Gill. As in the past, Sarah caught my slips and pointed out ways to expand on or clarify the various topics covered. Laura did an excellent job keeping me on the editorial straight and narrow. And Karen not only held it all together, but through her patience, cajoling, prodding, and encouragement helped get me through the rough spots.

I seldom thank by name my many colleagues in the Paint Shop Pro community, for fear of inadvertently leaving someone out. I admire their knowledge and creativity and appreciate their sense of sharing and camaraderie. But this time, in addition to the unnamed many, I'd also like to single out Sally and Porter for their support and good wishes inside and outside the graphics sphere.

And a very big thank you to Lar for once more putting up with my hours and hours cloistered away tapping keys and scratching on a graphics tablet.
