Chapter 14 - Troubleshooting the Windows Wireless Client

Chapter 14

Troubleshooting the Windows Wireless Client

When troubleshooting wireless connectivity, it is important to first determine whether some or all of your wireless clients are experiencing problems. If all of your wireless clients are experiencing problems, issues may exist in your authentication infrastructure. If some of your wireless clients are experiencing problems, issues may exist for your wireless access points (APs) or individual wireless clients.

In this chapter, we examine the troubleshooting tools of Microsoft Windows wireless clients to gather troubleshooting information and the common problems that can occur when obtaining authenticated wireless access for individual Windows wireless clients.
