Summary
This chapter described the detailed steps for configuring secure wireless access by using the EAP-TLS authentication protocol. Computers running Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 are used in the authentication infrastructure for domain controllers, CAs, and RADIUS servers (running IAS). A computer certificate is installed on each IAS server, and both a computer and user certificate is installed on Windows wireless clients. Windows wireless clients are then configured to use EAP-TLS authentication by using the Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies Group Policy setting or through manual configuration.
