What You Will Need to Use the Book

To use the book, you will at a minimum require a copy of a Team Edition (for example, Architect, Developer, Tester, or Database Professional-preferably Team Suite), Team Foundation Server, and all applicable components installed on your system. Even if you are implementing this product within your work environment, we highly recommend that you install a test copy on a virtual drive (or download a VirtualPC image from MSDN) to try out the examples contained within. You also need other Microsoft products such as Windows Server 2003, Office, and VirtualPC; please refer to the Team System readme for more details. Chapter 2 provides a step-by-step guide to installing the product on a virtual drive.
