Geometry is the mortar from which good games are built. The methods explored in this chapter are just some of the most frequently used ones, but there are many more. The field of computational geometry is huge and always expanding. As games advance, surely new geometric tests will evolve. Be sure to check out Appendix F because there are many references to the materials covered in this chapter.
