Options Bar

If a tool isn't operating the way you expect, the problem could be caused by one or more settings in the Options Bar. For example, if you are entering text with the Type tool (T) but can't see what you've just typed, it may be due to font size (the text may be too large for the document you're entering it in) or font color (the text may be set to white and your background is white). You can adjust the font size (and font color) in the Options Bar to fix this problem. If an issue persists, try retracing your steps to when the problem first presented itself. Check all the settings to ensure they're to your liking, then try again. If there are still problems, it's probably related to another area.
