Q1:	How do I make a drop shadow use a different angle than the rest?
A1:	By default, all drop shadows will use the same Angle setting due to an option called Use Global Light. If you uncheck that option in the Layer Style dialog (Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow), you can set the Angle of one drop shadow independently from the other layers .
Q2:	How do I apply a layer style to multiple layers at once? I want to apply a layer style from one layer to a number of other layers, without copying-and-pasting to each layer.
A2:	Control-click (PC: Right-click) on the name of the layer with the style you want and choose Copy Layer Style. Then Command-click (PC: Control-click) to select the other layers, and Control-click (PC: Right-click) on the name of any one of the selected layers and choose Paste Layer Style.
Q3:	Is it possible to put a layer style on its own layer? I added a drop shadow using Layer>Layer Style, but now I'd like to manipulate it. Is there a way to put the shadow on its own layer?
A3:	With the layer active, go to the Layer menu, to Layer Style, and choose Create Layer. This will result in a new layer that contains just the drop shadow (and if you have more effects applied, those will appear in separate layers as well).
Q4:	Is there a quick way to remove all layer styles from a layer?
A4:	Control-click (PC: Right-click) on the Layer Effects icon (it looks like the letter " "), and from the contextual menu, choose Clear Layer Style.
How do I create (save) my own layer style?
A5:	Once you have come up with a look you like by combining various layer effects (Layer>Layer Style), you can save those as a style. Click on the layer with the style you want, and then go to the Styles palette (Window>Styles), and from the palette's flyout menu, choose New Style (or just click on the Create New Style icon at the bottom of the palette). Name it (if you wish) in the resulting dialog and click OK. It will be added to the Styles palette. (If you're in the Layer Style dialog, you can click the New Style button to save your style.)
Q6:	Can I scale layer styles? I made an object much smaller, but the layer styles stayed the same size and they're too big. Can I adjust the effect?
A6:	You can either use the Layer menu and choose Layer Style>Scale Effects, or Control-click (PC: Right-click) on the Layer Effects icon (it looks like the letter " ") and from the contextual menu choose Scale Effects.
